Tower of Fantasy CBT (Closed Beta Test) FAQ

 

Dear Wanderer, thank you for your interest in Tower of Fantasy's Closed Beta Test! Before the CBT begins, we would like to share a list of frequently asked questions with you. We hope it will answer your questions about the upcoming CBT.

 

CBT Related Questions

1.  Can players outside the CBT supported areas join the CBT?

This CBT is a regional beta test. Participation is only open to players located in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, and Japan, and only the players located in the listed countries will be selected.

We will consider adding more countries and regions in the future. If you are not located in the aforementioned countries or are not selected to participate in the CBT, you are welcome to follow our official communities for follow-up information about the beta test.

 

2.  I'm required to fill in my email address in the application form. What is this information used for?

Your email address will be used in two separate events. Firstly, to receive the selection notification and pre-download guide. Secondly, it will be used as your account to participate in the CBT.

 

3.  What login methods does the CBT support?

To ensure a good experience for all players, we are only supporting email account logins for this CBT. You will have to follow the guide provided in the preload notification email and use the email account you provided in the registration form to participate in the CBT.

 

4.  Is this a paid CBT?

This CBT is a non-paid beta test. We will be distributing rewards through fixed mail events to guarantee a good experience for all players.

 

5.  Will game data be preserved after this CBT?

All game data will be wiped after this CBT.

 

6.  I've been selected to participate in the CBT. Can I share my account with a friend to let my friend experience the CBT too?

In order to guarantee your account's safety and protect your personal information, we recommend that you do not share your account information with anyone, and making illegal gains by way of selling accounts is strictly prohibited. We will ban and rescind the test qualifications of accounts that involves trading.

 

7.  Can I share this CBT's content on public platforms?

Of course! We encourage the creation and distribution of content related to this beta test. During the CBT, we will be holding a contribution event in our official communities. Everyone is welcome to participate! Please follow our official account:

Download and Installation Questions

1.  I received the CBT invitation, but I didn't receive the pre-download email.

Please check your spam folder and other folders for the pre-download email. If you changed your email information, please check if the email information you provided is accurate.

If the above is unable to resolve your issue, please contact our customer service.

 

2.  I followed the steps detailed in the guide, but I couldn't download the game.

The following may be the reason you are unable to download the game:

a. Please ensure that the app store account you are using conforms to your CBT region selection. Accounts that are not registered in the supported CBT regions will be unable to download the game.

b. Please check if your hardware or system meets the download requirements. Unsupported devices cannot download the game.

c. Please check your network connection. (It is recommended that you try   downloading the game while connected to a better network.)

d. Please check if your device has sufficient storage space to download the game. (Can be checked in your phone's settings. It's recommended to keep 8 GB of space available.)

 

3.  I couldn't install the game

The following may be the reason you are unable to install the game:

a. Please ensure that your device meets the minimum system requirements of the game.

b. Please ensure that your device has sufficient storage space.

c. Please ensure that your network connection is smooth while downloading and installing the game.

d. Please ensure that you have provided the required permission to install the game on your device.

We suggest that you try once more with a smooth network connection after confirming that your device supports the installation. If you are using the PC version, please refer to this guide: Tower of Fantasy PC Installation Information and Common Issues

If you still cannot download and install the game normally after trying the above, please contact our customer service.

 

4.  I couldn't log in.

The game does not start properly before logging in:

1. It may be due to missing files during the installation process. You can try downloading and installing the game again.

2. It may be due to incompatible device hardware or system. Please contact our customer service personnel.

 

Network error while trying to log in:

1. It may be an issue with your network connection. Please check your   connection.

 

The client does not work properly when trying to log in:

1. It may be because the server is closed or shut down for maintenance. Please refer to the game announcements, the official website, or the game communities for information about game downtime.

2. It may be due to the sudden downtime of the server. Please refer to the game announcements, the official website, or the game communities for further information.

3. It may be because the server is processing a huge number of log-in requests, resulting in not processing your log-in request. Please try again later, and contact our customer service personnel if you still can't log in.

 

If it is due to an account error:

1. Please ensure that your account and password are entered correctly. If none of the above work, please contact our customer service personnel.

2. Please ensure that your account has been selected to participate in this CBT.

3. Please ensure that your account has passed the Minor Information    Authentication, and that you have agreed to the User Agreement and Privacy Agreement.

 

5.  I'm playing on the PC version. What should I do if I encounter any issues?

In-Game Issues

1.  What should I do if my game lags?

Please ensure that your device meets the system requirements and uses suitable compatibility settings to run the game. You can adjust the game's graphics at [Menu > Settings > Resolution] to reduce stuttering and lag. Network issues may affect the game as well. Please ensure that you are located within the test region and connected to a smooth network connection. (It is recommended to have a latency of <100ms)

2.  What should I do if my game crashes?

Crashing may be due to the usage of a device far below the system requirements. Please contact our customer service and provide information about your issue. We will also continue working on optimizing the game further.

3.  Where can I submit feedback?

Thank you for your enthusiasm and support! You can submit feedback about the issues you encountered during the CBT and any suggestions you may have via the in-game feedback function or through our customer service. We will read, analyze, and evaluate all feedback we receive thoroughly.

Special Reminder

Currently, the English dub for the game is not yet finished. Therefore, we suggest that you use the Japanese dub for a better game experience. We will continue integrating and experimenting with the English dub during our testing.
